Married at 12, widowed at 16, Elsie Guerin came to Golden in 1859 to avenge her husband’s murder. Dennis Potter, retired Captain from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, reveals how George West became a part of her story that eventually led to a Civil War battlefield.
